Dezer Properties’ New York portfolio is the largest of its kind in the Chelsea and Flatiron neighborhoods, encompassing more than 1.3 million square feet of loft office space. Dezer Properties are a full service real estate company that owns and manages commercial properties in the Chelsea and Flatiron areas of Manhattan. Michael Dezer, the company’s founder, was a real estate visionary in the early 1970s, purchasing properties at a time when the buildings were occupied by industrial and manufacturing tenants.
Dezer Properties has over 500 commercial tenants and handles all property management operations, including leasing, in-house. Construction, maintenance, leasing, and accounting functions are all handled by an experienced team of Dezer executives. Dezer owns all of the buildings that they manage, so they are extremely tenant oriented. Responding to tenant needs is the main priority. Since Dezer Properties is not a managing agent, but a property owner, they can act quickly and knowledgeably regarding leasing, renovations, and tenant requests. The Dezer Vision migrated south to Miami Beach in 1985, where today, the company owns hotel properties representing 25 oceanfront acres in Sunny Isles Beach. Dezer Hotels owns and manages over 1,000 hotel rooms offering sunny vacation options.
Dezer Development, in partnership with the Related Group and the Trump Organization, has developed thousands of luxury condominium units in Sunny Isles Beach. The current projects include the Porsche Design Tower Miami, one of the world’s first condominiums where elevators will take residents directly to their private apartments while sitting in their cars. Also under development is Residences by Armani Casa, a soaring 649 foot tall modern glass tower by internationally acclaimed architect Cesar Pelli, with interiors by the legendary designer Giorgio Armani.
