Gigino Trattoria

Gigino Trattoria

Atmosphere

This popular inside/outside café is located at the southern tip of Manhattan, with the most spectacular views of the New York harbor, a great place to dine with friends and family, especially in the summer months on our outdoor patio.

Menu

A mainstay in TriBeCa since 1994, Gigino Trattoria was the site of owner Bob Giraldi’s 2001 film Dinner Rush, which featured Danny Aiello. Go for osso buco or any number of house-made pastas; executive chef Luigi Celentano, from Positano, Italy, creates daily specials as well. Try something from the extensive dessert menu, like biscotti siciliani, or perhaps a cheese or gelato.

Chef

The owners; Bob Giraldi and Phil Suarez along with executive chef Luigi Celentano have kept Gigino flourishing and Gigino has become a mainstay in the ever-changing Tribeca neighborhood. Chef Celentano creates both menu and wine list, with daily specials utilizing seasonally fresh seafood, game and vegetables.

Tuscan-inspired cuisine

Gigino Trattoria opened its doors in August of 1994.  Gigino prides itself on fact that all our dishes are prepared to order, almost all our pastas and breads are house made, fresh fish specials are featured on our “specials blackboard” daily and we have the best pizza in Tribeca!
